Advanced Reformer Pilates Class includes exercises for strength training and truly is a total body workout. Fast paced class with targeted series for Arms, Abs, Glutes, Legs & Mobility. Please be advised that muscular fatigue may be experienced a day or two after class. This class can still be modified for knee, wrist or other limitations. 

This is a 45 minute pilates equipment class including the following Balanced Body equipment: Reformer, Chair, Wall Tower, Motr, Orbit & Arc. Each class is uniquely designed to be different than your last to keep both your mind and muscles engaged. Class max is set to three. Pilates socks are strongly suggested for safety.

What is Pilates?

Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates during the first half of the twentieth century. He presented a system of exercises which were intended to strengthen both the human body and mind described in his book Return to Life through Contrology. 

With consistent practice Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength & balance  and develops control & endurance in the entire body. This is a full body workout where your "Powerhouse" Core is working throughout class. In pilates our core is considered to be the key to stability consisting of muscles of the abdomen, low back and hips. Pilates is for everyone and can be adapted for specific goals and/or limitations.
